An education in Alzheimer’s disease usually begins in one place: The Alzheimer’s Association. I’ve done a fair amount of educating to both individuals and groups about the Alzheimer’s disease process. I have found one little gem to be the best resource for learning the basics of brain anatomy and what goes wrong. Check out The Brain Tour and go through it a few times. It is an excellent crash course in Alzheimer’s disease in plain language with awesome graphics. Of course, the entire website is a wealth of information- enjoy!
